User's notes

They've popped up! @TomT saw the chicks emerging yesterday, and has some great photos. The female seems like she will fledge first. I'm quite concerned about the health of the adult female. For the past four days, she's landed on a branch and faced away from the hollow, and has just perched there with little movement and little interaction. Today she flew to another tree and back, but was not interactive. I watched her fly to the hollow, and she stumbled when landing. She just seems to lack energy - I would not be surprised if this is the last nesting season for her, sadly (and hope I'm wrong). @ChrisDavey?

Thanks Lisa
She looks healthy in the photo were their any signs of beak and feather disease?

That's the puzzle - no sign of disease, except perhaps age . . ? She perched with her head a bit lower, not quite hunched, but fluffled out feathers. It was just her illthrift, her stillness - she was acting strangely, and over a number of days, different to 99% of my (our) observations of gang gangs.

Sad - but ok if it is just old age
