turb, these were all under a large bin, and as far as I could tell, they were just trying to escape down holes or under cover when I lifted the bin. There were quite a lot of slugs, including Yellow Cellular Slug, Leopard Slug and Striped Field Slug, but no predatory behaviour that I could detect.

This Royal blue-coloured specimen is typical of those found at altitude in the alpine regions. The species is usually a dark greenish Prussian Blue colour, with a Royal Blue ventral surface. However, at altitude, the dorsal colour is much lighter. Other blue-green species, such as Caenoplana spenceri also exhibit this phenomenon in the alpine region.
