Medium sized brown snake raced back into this log after he scared the holy smokes out of me and bolted between my shoes. About 3.5 - 4 foot long. Very healthy looking. Scared him as much as scared me.

The area - Creek drain line parallel to Blue metal road - is well know for Eastern Browns but so far no one spotted 17m monster...
