Anke has indicated that "this site was last monitored in 2006 with no frogs. Before that it had 1 species in 2005 and 3 species in 2003. Wondering what happened to the pond over the years. As it is a stormwater drain maybe Gambusia- the introduced fish- got flushed in and has been eating all the tadpoles".
Our monitoring showed there were no frogs in the actual dam, however, we found approx 2 Spotted Marsh Frogs in the Reeds in drainage culvert at northern end of main irrigation dam adjacent Golf Club building. Also we observed fish activity in the dam.; Bank Veg: Some reeds; Overhead Canopy: none; Landscape: golf course greens, euclyptus trees;
