This is a real challenge! Could it be https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/taxa/626748-Condica-dolorosa/browse_photos only dark solid moth, 3-ish spots, checkered fringe I have found so far or https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/taxa/199525-Condica-illecta Or does the appearance of a crest suggest https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/taxa/843601-Gallaba-ochropepla/browse_photos

Acronictinae (Condica and Galaba) do not have a substantial pale tail tuft ?
