abread111 the area is notorious for dumping garden waste. Not sure though, whether dumping continues since the Green bins are available. All gardens abutting nature reserve have gates to the reserve and perhaps people still dump because it is the cheapest, quickest and and laziest way to get rid of garden waste. People living along Mackenzie Street are wealthy and it is sad to see the abuse and disregard of common goods. I have been cleaning up (controlling weeds that escaped gardens and / or were the result of dumping) in the nature reserve behind the backyards of Mackenzie St for many years but I'm tired and it is getting too much for me as well. I question whether volunteers should clean up when authorities fail to educate and enforce compliance.
