There will be always wild roses since they occur nearby for instance in Justice Robert Hope Park (Watson Woodland) over the road, and the government horse holding paddock to the south. The many foxes of the area are probably the main distributor of the seeds apart from parrots; see for instance Vulpes vulpes (Red Fox)
