Possibly feeding on aphids?

yes the fleabanes were full of aphids and ladybird beetles of at least 2 species; there were many larva too. I suggested to Max to not hand weed all fleabanes and leave the weed bags open so that at least the adults can move out and fly away. I cultivate plants in the garden on which I deliberately allow aphids to thrive to attract the beetles...

Hi All, Yes I felt conflicted today, to be or not to be, Remove the Invasive Fleabane weeds (currently 100's of them at the Fair / Mt Majura) and they are already Dispersing their Prolific seed load.
But then at the same time we are removing / killing 100's of Native Ladybirds, as most of the Fleabanes have 10 or more either Adult beetles or immature larvae / instars. I also made some photos of these today.
Any suggestions/ Solutions (Thanks Waltraud for above Ideas).
