User's notes

In many open now non-mown areas it is taking over, but then decreasing as the canopy increases.

Sorry John, but I can't see enough distinguishing features to ID this grass. I can see a few stems that are too long for couch so it could be something else. It would be helpful if you could photograph a seed head, even a tatty old one may narrow it down. Otherwise pluck a bit out of the ground and photograph against a plain background like a backpack, long pants, paper etc. Couch tends to spread by runners, so will be quite long and have leaves extending at right-angles every few centimetres.

I've uploaded a few more photos. Couldn't find seed heads. I've also got a photo of Kikuyu but I'n not sure if it is easy to ID it from the photo. I was conscious that there is a lot of couch around but I haven't recorded it.

I can only see the one image. Also Kikuyu is another reasonable suggestion for this plant.

Oops. Now uploaded. I will upload Kikuyu when I have some seedheads or other similar. Cheers, John
