Unlikely to be Picris angustifolia, the local subsp is the alpine one and the grassland subsp has yet to be recorded here

Yeah that makes sense and I agree - I was actually thinking that initially, but thrown off because I remember we had another tricky record before which turned out to be Picris, not Crepis, and also because most of the ones I've seen personally have been a bit more orange rather than yellow like this, and it's also generally qutie a sparsely distributed plant, usually I've seen them only a couple or singly. Though having a closer look, the low form of the plants suits Crepis over Picris, also the budding inflorescence. The yellow flowers are fine for Crepis as well, so I was a bit off the ball for thinking that they weren't.
