Just five days after seeing a young galah in this hollow, and having followed the galahs nesting over the past couple of months, I was somewhat shocked (and delighted) to see this male gang gang appear out of the hollow. I couldn't see or hear the female anywhere. Fingers crossed that this time the pair will be successful in fledging their young, and can keep the gliders at bay. (my heart will break if they have to face the loss of nestlings by the predator gliders, as happened last year.)
