M-fascum maybe?

I don't think so. M-fuscum only seem to prefer Apple Box Eucalypts and seem to be the only Eucalypt beetle to like this plant. The leaf doesn't look like it is this species. @ConBoekel, what Eucalypt was this on?

One of a variety of plantings that have neither names nor fruits nor flowers on them so I am sorry it is probably impossible to say.

@ConBoekel if you have any other photos showing more of the leaf or stem? Even leaf shape, edge, where it connects to the stem could help. The “duds” for the beetle maybe good for plant id

I'll have to go back. I will let you know when I post some more images.

Looks like P. m-fuscum to me. Maybe it accidentally flew onto a plant it doesn't normally feed on.
