These were found under decaying wood of eucalypt trees at Jerrabomberra Wetlands. there were common garden snails around the area, but would love an ID, I'd I've never seen snail eggs before, if that is what they are?

Great photo - I suspect they may be a slime mould,. Were they stalked at all?

Unfortunately I cannot identify snails and slugs by their eggs. If Michael123 can't then these may well be unidentifiable but lets see what he has to say. @Michael123

Thank you to both Michaels and Trevor really appreciate it. @Michael123 Is it safe to say they 'are' eggs though? as they were not stalked (@michealmulvaney). What other information is usually visually handy to include for ID when finding eggs? as I suspect its quite hard to ID eggs in general.

Cristy1676 they are snail eggs. Snail eggs are often stuck together like this in small clusters. Possibly from Cornu aspersum going by habitat and location.
