I think the first two images are Cirsium vulgare, and not the same as the other three, which are Carduus

Thanks Ciaran, the images have changed since I last looked at the sighting, but I do agree. @KumikoCallaway could you please remove the first image?

Uploading images for this species didn't work well for some reason. It didn't let me upload the right ones at first, and also didn't let me delete them or change them. I went back to the sighting several times to fix it, but it didn't work yesterday. I am sorry for the confusion. I hope that it worked okay this time.
