There are 2 Glyphipteryx (genus) entries. I have suggested both. Which one should I have used ?

I don't know. I suggesst we merge the second category with the first as above by agreeing to my suggested 're-identifiction'of the second observation. Then delete the second redundant category. Then take a hard look at all of them to see which can actually identified to species. Are you sure this might not be Psychidae (family) ?

It does not seem to have a fuzzy topknot, but maybe it was wet or something. I cannot find any similar wing patterns among the two dozen Lepidoscia species on BOLD, but the Checklist has about 100, so it could be one of the other 75 or so.

It was not wet, but I think the angle of the photo minimised the fuzz. I think it far too big for Glyphipteryx.
