Significant sighting

Tapirlord noted:
26 Jan 2023

An uncommon grass in the ACT, this is a good find.

User's notes

Grass to 2m tall growing in a wet seep/stream coming off a perched bog in montane woodland. Seems to have a slightly sweet smell like sweet vernal grass. Does not appear to have been collected in the ACT since 1986, but was recorded in 1988, but not from this location. Only a few records of the species in the ACT.
