Significant sighting

Tapirlord noted:

New location for this grass which is on the ACT rare plant, like the vast majority of "rare" grasses it is probably unreported but we will need more records to be sure of this.

User's notes

Growing in montane forest. Culms singular, erect. Culm blades 5mm wide.

Since the glumes are >5mm long with bristly hairs on the keels, is it possible that this is E. cheelii?

E. cheelii fits the criteria. Interestingly in the PlantNET key it says "Lemma usually shorter than glumes" and in the description the opposite "Lemma usually longer than glumes" and then Vicflora shows a drawing of "Lemma equal to the glumes" and a rounded flowerhead. Yet Ausgrass2 key says " flowerhead three or more times longer than broad". Go figure.

Only suggesting as I'm not overly familiar with the species and just relying on keys and descriptions

VICFlora also says "lemma equal to or slightly exceeding glumes" for E. ovatus, caespitosum and cheelii.
