This looks to a very pale, perhaps worn specimen. Moths of Victoria only record C. cryeropa from the western dry mallee country in Victoria eg. from the Murray-Sunset National Park. On their supporting disc to Part 3 they show a series recording the great degree of variation in forewing markings in C. cryeropa from grey to brown overall from one location there. They say the moth is very similar to C. actinipha which is yet to be recorded in Victoria. However postings on the ALA contradict this and show C, actinipha records more widespread including in western NSW and southern central Victoria. Bold Sytems records support a western distrubution for C. cryeropa and C. actinipha, but there is one C. actinipha record from north eastern, NSW. It appears these two species are difficult to distinguish from one another on sight alone.
