User's notes

I am curious, found 3 "types" of Dillwynnia, growing in close proximity, almost side by side, Mt Majura Horse trail. 3 different coloured flowers : Red-Orange, Yellow-Orange, and Yellow. I know colour is Highly subjective and variable. From the photos any idea if these 3 are just colour variants, or varieties, or different species ? The leaves are elongate, narrow width (1-2mm), Length is 0.5-1.0 cm. Location is open, bright sun exposure, rocky substrate, Eucalypt grassy woodland Habitat. Looking at CNM species list, there are 'Many' Parrot peas. Which will complicate matters... What a puzzle... Please Take your time, definitely no rush. At least one of the specimens has the shorter leaf length (around 0.5cm).

For further information (Update) :
Personal Communication from Isobel Cr, who had a look at these specimens recently :
"I think your ‘other’ smaller-flowered and brighter orange Dillwynia is the taxon still known by its phrase name
'sp. Yetholme (P.C.Jobson 5080)’. "
"it is what is termed a ‘phrase name’ and is given to an as yet not formally described species. So that botanists know what is being referred to, the collector (Peter Jobson), collection number (5080), and a brief description of the taxon is given in Plantnet (as it occurs only in NSW) and the ACT Census and on CNM. It is part of what used to be called D. cinerascens.
The other two pieces that looked alike were both D. sericea,
which is more common and widespread than the other one."

I probably need to post this as a seperate Sighting on CNM ?
Your advice requested.... Thanks Max.

Yes a sighting for each species would be good - if you leave this one with the services images that probably works best
