User's notes

Probably an Azolla Waterfern species, Floating in this Dam reservoir. I come to this location regularly, not seen here before, looks like a new "infestation", Probably spread by water birds (Ducks come here a lot). Each plantlet is about 2-3cm wide, with distinctive filamentous roots on underside of the leaflets. Colour is pale green with brownish (older ?) Zones.
