Lobed leaves is at odds with the descriptions of Leycestria formosa in both Flora of Victoria and Weeds of Australia. However I note that there are some images of lobed leaves amongst the sightings on Inaturalist. It may be feature of reshooting shoots https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/96674401 https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations/38533262
I have found another with some lobed leaves. NZ Plant Conservation Network https://www.nzpcn.org.nz/flora/species/leycesteria-formosa/ says leaves 'ovate or broad-ovate, mostly entire, sometimes 5~9-lobed with rounded sinuses' and Wikipedia says 'with an entire, wavy or even deeply-lobed margin' but I haven't seen it mentioned in other descriptions. Leycesteria formosa is 'Very High' priority in the ACT List of Invasive Plants and I have seen it wildly invasive in England and NZ.
