Looks similar to A.fimbriata, but i'm not sure, herbarium is probably the only fool proof method with some of these non-local wattles. There is a another clump of a species that might be worth collecting (should I ever get round to it) below mt Mugga summit that I walked past the other day.
There is (or was) Acacia fimbriata growing nearby but from memory it was a bit different. If you can give me the location of the other plants on Mt Mugga I could take a look.

with regard to the other wattle, i've linked in a sighting which has the a more or less accurate location. that patch is currently in flower along with some hakea i've dubiously called H.decurrens. Unidentified Wattle (TBC)
