User's notes

Flatworm about 12mm. There were a lot of stripe-bellied flatworm in this area, but not sure if this little one is a young stripe-bellied or a black flatworm.

Unfortunately the reflections and resolution of the image make it difficult to determine any eye or dorsal stripe pattern. Thanks for the photo of the lightly mottled ventral surface - the absence of stripes rules out Parakontikia atrata and P. ventrolineata. The dorsal surface also appears mottled (though this could be pixelation) and your specimen may be Anisorhynchodemus simulans. When you next encounter it, using a hand lens, check the head for a pair of eyes.
