Thanks Cath - I take it Baldy was not one of the feeding birds?

Hi Michael. I'm not sure he is still bald. My sunflower-seed-feeding contact thinks one of the birds still visiting him is probably Baldy from his behaviour, but with his crest grown back. When I was watching birds at the drinking tree (sighting 4436081) the other day, one tossed his head as he came up for air and I thought I caught sight of a pale area, but it was a very fleeting glimpse. I was also watching a pair recently who were grooming each other very fondly in a way that reminded me very much of Baldy with his partner.
