Are leeches known from the gully?

Hi Roger. I don't know if this answers your question but I've seen Striped Leeches in the Rainforest Gully for a few years now. They are most obvious after heavy rain and usually attached to one of the handrails. Some sightings: 4434971, 4434698, 4370163. They can probably be found within the foliage away from the walkways, but as this area isn't accessible to the public, then it's not easy to confirm. This particular sighting is the first time I've seen one attached to a tree in the Rainforest Gully.

Phil Hurle (Horticulture Manager at the Gardens) confirmed the presence of leeches over several years in the gully especially in wet seasons.
