Did you climb the sentry box while were you there? Great climb and plenty of rare plants in that region.

Didn't quite get to the top, ran out of time. Was with the Cooma bushwalking club, so not much time for browsing plants and most photos I took were too hurried to be useful. The whole area is suffering still from the 2020 bushfires.

Ah well, live and learn, can definitely understand fast hiking partners haha. I climbed sentry box in November of last year and thought the area had recovered quite well, particularly on the summit and the ridge to sentry box rock. The slopes certainly took a beating, however many rare species are still persisting there.
