Found three eggs in a metal cylinder (used for igniting charcoal) on top of our barbecue under our verandah just before Christmas (20/12/21). Two birds have been taking in turns sitting in the eggs. We have avoided the area for a couple of weeks and a few days ago found 3 chicks! The parents have been bringing them skinks, live worms, caterpillars and some large insects like crane flys. A friend suggested it is a grey shrike-thrush.
