The photos depict the regrowth of a large amount of horehound. Between 2006 and 2012 volunteers removed horehound, planted native shrubs and herbs and direct-seeded native grass in the 7ha paddock. The area looked fantastic during the strong la Nina event 2011-12 with Tall Spreargrass and other native grass species covering most of the area. Subsequently, the native grass was grazed, the site became almost bare during the 2019 drought and weeds particularly horehound had a huge comeback.
