D. lineata seems more likely given the coastal distribution of H. capucina. See also sighting No. 4367299.

I was thinking that the darkening along near the forewing hind margins was more characteristic of Hylaeora.

Yes, images online do suggest that somewhat, but it seems quite a a few D. lineata also have the darkening? It could be definiitive, I do not know.

Looking at Hylaeora capucina on iNaturfalist many of that species have a broad black band almost right to the costa - and a strongly white dorsal mark/band - which seems to be lacking here.
