Looking at the ALA and Bold Systems 4 I think this moth appears to be quite similar to Scoparia plagiotis. See ALA images here

Both the ALA and Bold Systems 4 indicate S. plagiotis has only been recorded from Tasmania and Victoria, however a check of records at ANIC might show it extends wider to the ACT and NSW.
