I have suggested this is Thoracolopha (genus) based on the shape of the reniform/black dark mark on the forewing. Although there are similarities in the forewing markings, I've hesitated suggesting placing it with the 'Thoracolopha provisional species' sightings because of the grey colouring and distinct fine collar mark between the head and thorax which seems to place it apart from those sightings.

Why isn't this Agrotis porphyricollis?

I do not see the panelled thorax with a central darker panel and lighter panels either side.
