Photos of two different individuals, but i assume same species. Quite a few of these flying around.

Altough the species is variable, the visible markings suggest Fraus crocea.

Fraus fusca has many records from ACT and southern tablelands. Fraus crocea is more from the coast and nearby mountains. Fraus fusca is rich brown in colour (photo 2 has natural colours, the others are overlaid pinkish) with a solid discal spot (photos three and four. Fraus crocea is usually more reddish brown and with a light centre to the discal spot.

This record has been, I believe, correctly identified as Fraus fusca but Fraus fusca is a species which should appear in the taxonomy as Hepialidae not in Other Moths. I need the cooperation of another Moth Moderator to solve this problem, I have suggested (above) this record's ID sould be Fraus (genus), Another moth moderator can approve this interim ID now, after which the record and Fraus fusca may be deleted from 'Other moths' then a correct new taxon could created in Hepialidae for Fraus fusca. Do I have anaccomplice? If this doesn't work we will need to ask michaelb to fix this for us.
