The extent of the hollow spot, the light palpi and the size of the moth suggest Taxeotis stereospila, but the photo doesn't show enough to be certain. Nearch ursaria is usually 3cm+ and has very dark palpi.

Agreed. It does suggest T. stereosplia for mine given the size of spot and that it looks, from a side on view to be hollow as would be consistent with that asepcies.
