Eggs were buried in dirt pile (and reburied). The 2 black creatures seemed to be hatching from the eggs. Eggs were approximately 1.5cm in length, less than 1cm in width and there was approximately 30 of them found. Not sure if I have the Category 1 correct.
The eggs are not those of planarians which are of similar size but coloured from yellow to black depending upon how recently they were laid, and laid only one at a time, not in a clutch. Each egg cocoon would have from 1-6 or more juvenile planarians, depending upon the species. The two planarians are adults of the native species Caenoplana coerulea.
