Characteristic scutum and propodeum

The diagnostic features of E. depressa are the wide facial fovea, the golden occipital fringe and, to a lesser extent, the relatively large size. The two other species with these characteristics are either from WA or have golden facial hair. The propodeum does not vary much between species.
