User's notes
Several pairs in nearby trees. All but one was a female with a smaller male sitting just above her. The exception was the tree with the spider consuming a caterpillar (photo 1). Two spiders of a similar size on this tree. This spider had a caterpillar and was still devouring it on my return an hour later. There was no smaller male above this spider. However, a further visit some hours later had a smaller male above the caterpillar eating spider, with the larger female seen earlier, still on the other side of the trunk.
