Attracted to UV light at night (50w Gecko).

In their latest publication, Part 9 of Moths of Victoria 'Cutworms and Allies, Noctuidea (C)', the authors recognize and illustrate two (2) species which they assign the name A. porphryicollis, Variable Cutworm. They say more work is needed to formally separate them.
