Wow - that is exciting! Maybe I am finally getting my eye in for orchids . . . I couldn't work out the difference between golden moth and large golden moth orchids, but with my (very limited) research, I think the large ones are really large?

Large golden mother is larger, flowers later, and is typically darker yellow in the centre of the labellum. Honestly they are difficult to distinguish visually. They have only been recorded a few times in Canberra, but they are much more common in NSW and VIC.
