Thanks Mike were they looking in a hollow? This is also pretty close to the water drinking tree we observed last season

Gang gang cockatoos I saw today did not seem to be inspecting hollows. If not perching or flying, they were feeding on the ground. They have plenty of competition for hollows - sulphur crested cockatoos, corellas, galahs, rosellas and wood ducks.

Thanks Mike - was watching myself today and had a pair of gang gangs driven from a hollow entrance by a single galah
