A very small, delicate flower

It is OK to clear away sticks, pine needles etc before taking a photo. Th flower stalk is not visible for most of its length because there is so much in the way.

With the ID Lagenophora gracilis I am assuming you are certain that the leaves in photo 5 belong to the flower. The leaves are right for this species, and it can have quite long flower stalks.

Yep, I'd call it L. gracilis. Its flowers tend to be a bit smaller than those of L. stipitata, and leaves less hairy looking. My photos of the two species show stipitata as having many more ligules than gracilis too, though the Flora says nothing about this. I see the paper version of NSW Flora does not have this species on the ST. I'm not seeing the map, so not sure where the sighting is from.
