I don't think it's Anthribidae. Anthribids don't have elbowed antennae.

Hi Harvey, I have just looked though the Canberra nature photo's, could it be a Titinia sp. one of the photos looks very similar, I am open to suggestions.

I don't know, Roger. I'm in the same position as you. I took a photo of a weevil that looks very much like yours, also on a bipinate wattle (A dealbata), and though Titinia looks closest based on what is on CNM, I'm not convinced it's that either. Will hopefully get around to posting my photos to CNM tonight.
