It's interesting to compare Zonopetala decisana with Euphiltra eroricella as they are very similar. There are differences in the extent of black or white at the base of their labial palpi and antennae, but a microscope is usually needed to see this. Z. decisana has broader mainly black and white forewings, and E. eroticella is more colourful with a subtle yellowsheen, but these characteristics are hard to assess in single photos. I don't know if the CNM records are properly separated.
