I think it is a Lichenaula (Xyloryctidae) species. There is an unnamed one like this that has been recorded often on Black Mountain.

Hi Glenn
We have a duplicate name here, this one - Lichenaula (genus) - in Curved-horn moths (all Gelechioidea except Oecophoridae).
We also have Lichenaula sp. (genus) - in Concealer moths (Oecophoridae).

OK, that arose from the L. sp. entry being accidentally left behind in Oecophoridae when all Gelechioidea was created. I'll delete it

I merged it rather deleted it as it had records. All three records now in right place (and images redefined!)

Thanks Glenn

The photo isn't definitive, but it's reasonable to attribute it to the often observed Black Mountain species. It is larger and lighter than Lichenaula onychotypa which has also been recorded on Black mountain, but much less often.
