User's notes

At 6.55pm Female flew in from west and perched on branch above hollow. At 7.00pm she moved down to rim of hollow and bobbed head in and out of hollow on numerous occasions. At 7.05 male flew in from west and landed on brach 2m from hollow. He then moved over and together with female bobbed head in and out of hollow. At 7.10 male entered hollow and female moved to nearby branch. At 7.15 another male flew into tree on a branch 5m above hollow. Female did not re-act. At 7.20 male emerged from hollow and moved above hollow - other male flew off. At 7.25 male entered hollow again. At 7.30 male emerged from hollow again, and with female perched close to hollow, At 8.40 both birds moved high up into the tree and called. Their call was answered by pair to the west. Either the birds took off or they hid themselves in the high branches as I lost site of them. I went and found another pair or same pair 100m to the west. see https://canberra.naturemapr.org/Community/Sightings/Details/4247253
