Difficult angle from which to identify. Have you another shot from above? Looks to me to be a bit too short and stocky to be A. infusa.

Unfortunately no, I couldn’t get a photo of it without the glass in the way. Getting a few medium sized brown moths hanging around lately.

Dasygaster paddockina does not have the outlined chevrons near the base of the forewing, like this has. These are charcateristic of Agrotis infusa.

Judging by the postings on the ALA for D padockina it is a variable species and quite a few have chevrons in evidence at the base of the forewing, others are plain (-there is an out of place M. convecta there too!) . I am not sure but I think the general colouration, the white bordered ''blob' mark in the wing and the checkered forewing outer margin are suggestive of D, padockina to me. See:
