Getting lots of them (and the orchard butterfly caterpillars) on the citrus in the past couple of weeks

This caterpillar has everted an orange forked organ from behind the head called an osmeterium, which they use as a chemical defence when they feel threatened. Orchard Swallowtail larvae also possess this organ, but it is red rather than orange.
