Photo 3 shows the typical branching form of Melicytus dentatus, and sharp tipped small branches. The branches of angustifolius branch at about 90 degrees (are divaricate).

The margins of the leaves seem to be completely entire which does point to Melicytus angustifolius subsp. divaricatus, I can't get onto the Flora of Victoria site to check the description further but I get the feeling that Melicytus dentatus is called such because of the teeth on the leaf margins - hence dentatus.
