I am taking your ID that it is a trigger plant as OK, thogh none of the flowers have their triggers in the set position, as far as I can see. It is probably armeria with that soil type. In the ACT gramineum only occurs on the sandstone of Black Mountain. You need to have a photo of the leaves as well. Armeria has somewhat wider leaves. A small ruler showing the width is helpful, or just a note of the width in the Comments. The defining character that Rosemary Purdie found when she looked at the specimens at the National Herbarium was that if you look at the back of a leaf, the mid-vein of gramineum protrudes to form a distinct keel, while that of armeria does not. This character is obvious in the hand but does not show up in a photo.
