How about the larger A. platyscia which has a more emphatic dark mark along the centre of the forewing and is more common?

OK, but I thought the pattern of black markings on this specimen better matched the examples labelled as such on the ALA. The three examples of A . platyscia on the ALA show less emphatic black markings than this example. Also the A. cinerosa examples on the ALA show a separate fine dark streak on the forewing running back from base of the firewing which this specimen also shows.

Agriophara platyscia differs from Agriophara cinerosa in having a narrow pale line along each forewing costa. I think I can see this on the third photo.
