Definitely not a grass or a sedge. Without flowers, I would not try to suggest which unknown Other Wildflower or Daisy this is. Unfortunately there is a glitch in the NatureMapr software that prevents me from changing it without suggesting a specific name. Betty

Betty - Thanks. I have edited it to show "other wildflower". The leaves are soft and downy and very silver, the seedhead is like a tiny dandelion as you can see, but on thin dried brown flowering stems. Sorry I did not catch it in flower.
